Problem
According to The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), consumption of fast foods has become almost a global phenomenon. India's fast-food industry is expanding at the rate of 40% every year. India ranks 10th in the fast food per capita spending figures with 2.1% of expenditure in annual total spending. As much as 3.3 million metric tons of plastic waste was generated in India in 2018-19, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) report from 2018-19.
Objective
To align the brand with an ideology that connects to the increasing demand for products that are both healthy and eco-friendly, while still maintaining the enjoyable experience, meeting expectations, and generating excitement.

VOCAL FOR LOCAL
Vision
Hungry Monkey offers consumers healthier forms of popular food and snack items. The brands values are rooted in sustainability. In a world where single use plastics and global warming is a crisis, the brand pledges to utilize cleaner and reusable packaging materials.
Agriculture is a major source of livelihood for about 58% of India's population. Majority of the agricultural workers in India are small and marginal farmers.
The brand sources its fresh produce from local farmers to promote growth and income opportunities.
The brand intended to target a large and socially active audience to create an impact. To achieve this goal, the brand focused on attracting consumers from millennial and especially gen-z populations.
A mascot was created to add elements of fun and relatability to the brand.
Mobile Application Development
Packaging Design
The brand uses recycled cardboard and paper containers for food and glass bottles for juices. It encourages consumers to reuse containers creatively and dispose unusable containers consciously.
the designs were developed and edited using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Modeling, texturing and lighting of containers and bottles were done using Autodesk 3ds Max and Adobe Photoshop.












The brand has partnered with local nurseries to sell plant seeds and saplings to customers. Additionally, they utilize social media to encourage customers to utilize Hungry Monkey containers to grow plants and support the environment, local farmers and businesses!
